The PANVIPREP approach 

The graphic below outlines the coherence of the different PANVIPREP work packages and highlights several key features of the project, in particular:

• the central position of our medicinal chemistry efforts
• the multidisciplinary approach reflected in all hit development and target discovery efforts
• the feedback mechanisms between different work packages
• the inclusion of the latest AI/ML methodology in all relevant elements of the PANVIPREP pipeline.

Finally, the scheme underlines the iterative nature of “hit-to-lead” development, which is crucial to improve antiviral activity and enhancing our understanding of the molecular basis of the mode-of-action of specific inhibitors of virus replication.
